The Jang Seeder rollers have slots to cradle each seed planted.

The roller may have 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 slots depending on your spacing needs and the seed being planted.

Each roller has specific hole sizes to match the seeds that may be planted.

By using various rollers and sprockets, in many different combinations, you may adjust the seed spacings to suit your planting needs with the Jang Seeder.

Please note:

It's important to understand that all not all seeds are uniform in size. For instance, Corn seed: It's critical that the grower know the diameter of the seed s/he is using and match that to the appropriate roller. If you don't have a micrometer to check the seed size, you can use a drill bit set, drill a hole in some scrap material and see how the seed fits in there.

It is important to note that seed singularization is not always a guarantee for every type of seed, but can oftentimes be accomplished through the combination of brush settings and the right roller. Our distributor sells a separate, dedicated unit that is better suited to singulate corn and pumpkin seed-- it's a plate design vs. the roller design. While we sell this, we don't expect our customers to buy a dedicated unit for corn. We try to match our customers with the appropriate roller for the JP-1.

Easy Roller Exchange Program: The purchase of a Jang Seeder and 5 Rollers qualifies the buyer to participate in our Roller Exchange program. You may mail back an unused roller/s for an exchange of the roller/s of your choice of equal value during the first season of use.
